Is registration really free?
Yes. Ride For Your Life is free to register for. Donations, fundraising, and merchandise purchases are always optional.
Do I have to fundraise?
No.
Every participant receives the option to create a fundraising page after registering, but it's entirely your choice.
If you do choose to fundraise, there are no fundraising commitments or minimums.
How does fundraising work?
If you choose to fundraise, you'll be able to create your personal fundraising page after registration.
You can personalize your story, add photos, and share your page through email and social media to invite friends, family, coworkers, and neighbors to support a cause you care about.
We provide simple tools to make sharing easy.
What types of participation are available?
To take part in Ride For Your Life, you can:
- Ride (about 6miles)
- Walk (about 1 mile)
- Fundraise virtually from anywhere
Where do donations go?
Your support helps fund Ride For Your Life events while also supporting local advocacy organizations working to make streets safe.
Together, these efforts bring communities together, amplify voices, and create meaningful change.

Ride For Your Life uses two connected accounts to give you the best experience.
Participant Account
Manage your registration, update your information, receive event communications, and purchase merchandise.
Fundraising Account
Create and manage your optional fundraising page, track donations, thank supporters, and customize your story.
Participants only need their fundraising account if they decide to fundraise.
